Jesse Willms, an Internet success story, is working with his companies to create partnerships with four well-known charities and is giving $25,000 to each one.

This caps off a summer that saw Willms and his companies go out of their way to become philanthropists and give back to the community. Willms has said that his companies were inspired by Bill Gates and Warren Buffett, who earlier this year called on successful companies and individuals to partner with and donate money to as many highly regarded institutions as possible.

Who Is Jesse Willms?

Jesse Willms is an Internet marketing legend. He started making his fortune when he was only 16 years old by buying and selling computers and software online from his family home. By the time he was 22 years old he had launched several multimillion-dollar companies. Now, he is focusing his time and effort on supporting worthwhile charitable organizations.

What Organizations Is Jesse Willms Partnering With?

While Willms has partnered with several well-known charitable institutions in the past – including Kiva and World Vision - the four charities that have been selected for this new partnership are:

The Breast Cancer Research Fund. There are over 1.5 million new cases of breast cancer reported each and every year. It is dedicated to both preventing new incidences of breast cancer and in helping find a cure. The American Institute of Philanthropy gave this charity an A+ rating.

Boston Children's Hospital. U.S. News & World Report rated Children's Hospital Boston one of the nation's top hospitals specializing in pediatric care. It provides state of the art care, saves lives and improves the long-term health of its young patients.

The Gulf Oil Spill Restoration Fund. The fund is dedicated to helping restore the ecosystems that were damaged by the Gulf of Mexico oil rig disaster earlier this year. The spill has endangered species as it has damaged their normal breeding, nesting and hunting grounds. The fund works to undo the damage.

The Nevada YMCA. The Young Men's Christian Association of Nevada works with children and youth to help give them a sense of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. They incorporate these values into all of their programs, activities and interactions.
